Holidays time...

Last Monday was a great day for our club members. What better way to practice telling life stories than in a real situation? We had a lot of fun sharing a meal at the Macaroni Grill and getting to know each other. We look forward to this week's special Holiday Meeting which sounds hilarious!

Holiday Meeting: December 20th at noon

Our holiday meeting will be on Monday, December 20 at noon at Macaroni Grill – 300 SW Yamhill St.  This will just be a friendly lunch for networking and camaraderie, but just like Jason, our Education Officer said: "Someone will likely try to wax poetic for a couple of minutes, you know Toastmasters".


We will have a meeting on Wednesday, December 29 at noon in our regular room at World Trade Center Building 2.  This will not be a “regular” meeting though – we will have an unusual format that will be fun for all!

Thanksgiving meeting!

So much fun today at Shigezo! Our Club met in a Tatami room and enjoyed green tea with a delicious Thanksgiving lunch.

That was only half of the experience. The other half was the chance to get together, chat and laugh, network and wish each other a great Thanksgiving.

Some used it as a great business or coaching opportunity. Some shared stories, encouraged to turn them into speeches.










Stay tuned for more networking opportunities! The Club Officers are already brainstorming on a Christmas get-together!

Coming up: Thanksgiving Social Lunch

This event is organized in place of our regular Wednesday meeting. Since our Thanksgiving week meeting falls right before the holiday, we would like to have everyone gather in a more casual setting. We have a great Tatami room reserved in a newly opened Japanese restaurant (they just rolled out their lunch menus at the beginning of November). Get ready for some good conversations, some networking (bring your business cards) and a whole lot of fun!
