The Electric Toasters finished up 2013 with our final meeting of the year on December 18. Following the meeting's theme of "Gift Giving," Yuri led a unique Table Topics session that is sure to become a tradition. With a handful of small gift wrapped boxes, she passed one each to Table Topics participants, challenging them to explain why the gift they were given was the very best gift.
It's worth noting that our word of the day was "Avuncular," which proved a difficult adjective to squeeze into a speech.
Angela closed the meeting with encouragement to look at the Toastmaster related goals we set earlier in the year, and to work toward 2014 as a year of growth, goal achievement and opportunity for the Electric Toasters Toastmaster Club.
